Customer Service:

Description: We are a veterinary practice that values and respects both our patients and clients. That is why it is imperative that the applicant exhibits a high level of customer service , which is essential to promoting a positive client experience. 1 – 2 years of customer service experience required. Our staff creates memorable personalized experiences for our clients and their pets. Does this sound like you? If so, we are looking for those exceptional people who excel in people skills, communication and relationship building. This includes how to communicate effectively with people in the first 30 seconds and create memorable experiences to maintain customer loyalty. We are looking for part time positions to fit our business needs. This includes nights and weekends.

Requirements: We are searching for candidates who are highly motivated, enthusiastic, have great people skills and enjoy making our clients and their pet’s day. We will train you in the skills required; however, prior customer service experience is required. Your specific duties as a Customer Service Representative will include:

  • Scheduling appointments for wellness visits and a variety or other veterinary services
  • Reading scripted information from the computer screen to clients
  • Answering client questions about products and services
  • Entering data into the computer and updating client account accurately
  • Occasionally transferring calls to the appropriate supervisor
  • Checking clients in and out for appointments
  • Upkeep of the retail department
  • Basic cash handling
  • Call Center
  • Front Desk

Veterinary Technician

Description: Talleyville Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a full time Veterinary Technician. Applicants must have at least 1-2 years of experience as a Technician. A licensed certified Technician is a plus.

We are a veterinary practice that values and respects both our patients and clients. That is why it is imperative that the applicant exhibit a high level of customer service, which is essential to promoting a positive client experience. Generous salary and comprehensive benefit package.

Requirements: Core Competencies of the Technician include:

  • Ability to work in a group dynamic
  • Excellent phone skills and client interaction
  • Computer literate
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Train and mentor new staff members
  • Obtain patient history from client and review with doctor
  • Client education
  • Perform TPR
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • Restraint of both dogs and cats
  • Trim both cat and dog nails
  • Express anal glands
  • Venipuncture of cephalic, femoral, saphenous, and jugular
  • Administer IV, IM and SQ Fluids
  • Knowledgeable of common antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, antihistamines, antiparasitic, controlled drugs, prescription diets, and vaccines
  • Radiology; measurements, position, calibrating machines, and processing film
  • Assist doctor in preforming euthanasia’s

Emergency/Critcal Care Veterinary Technician

Description:  Windcrest Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed or Experienced Veterinary Technician for our Emergency/Critical Care Team.

We need to add a highly skilled veterinary technician to our team of doctors and over 90 employees at our flagship veterinary hospital. At Windcrest, we treat many different species of exotics as well as dogs and cats.

Windcrest Animal Hospital is located in a state-of-the-art 26,000 square foot free standing facility in Wilmington, Delaware suburbs. Our facility offers 24 hours emergency services (Veterinarian and technician on site at all time) surgery, intensive care, ultrasound, laser, in-house laboratory, complete dental suite including digital dental x-ray, endoscopy, preventative and ill care. Boarding and Grooming services on site. Windcrest opened Delaware’s first aquatic rehabilitation program with underwater treadmill and an Endless Pool.

Requirements We are seeking highly motivated, experienced full time and part time day/overnight technician with 1 year related experience, to join our expanding Veterinary Team, Surgery and Critical Care experience a plus.
