Tyra Miller, LVT

Before joining our Talleyville team, Tyra worked at a Veterinary Medical Center in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She attended a Technical High School where she studied Veterinary Medicine, then went on to further her education at Harcum College. There, she gained her LVT credentials and completed her practicum at both the New Bolton Center and Ryan Penn Hospital in Pennsylvania. Tyra has always known she wanted to work in the veterinary field, and her only goal over the next five years is to continue doing the work that she loves. In her downtime, Tyra enjoys swimming, playing volleyball, and doing puzzles. She shares her home with a black/mixed lab, a chocolate lab, and a Calico cat named Cookie.

F. Morgan Dawkins, DVM

Practicing Veterinarian and owning partner of Windcrest Animal Hospital Group

F. Morgan Dawkins, DVM, graduated from the University of Tennessee and is a co-owner of Windcrest, Hockessin, Talleyville, Graylyn Crest, and Centreville Veterinary Hospitals. Dr. Dawkins has a special interest in exotic species and orthopedic surgery. He has known since elementary school that he wanted to be a veterinarian. The most memorable experiences of his career were his first day working as a doctor, and the day he had a Bengal tiger cub as a patient.

Dr. Dawkins has served in the following capacities:

• Past President and current AVMA Alternate Delegate of the Delaware Veterinary Medical Association
• Lecturer for exotic species and other course for Delaware Technical and Community College Veterinary Technician program
• Member of the American Veterinary Medical Association
• Member of The Association of Avian Veterinarians
• Member of The Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians
• Member of The Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians
• Member of The American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners
• He is also USDA accredited.

Dr. Dawkins was awarded the Veterinarian of the Year by the Delaware Veterinary Medical Association in 2012.

His family includes his beautiful wife Jennifer and children – Collin, Bailey, Sidney, and Trevor. Family pets include two dogs, both border collies (Gilly and Jack) currently being trained for sheep herding trials; cats (Tahlula, Dorito, and Mango), a rabbit (Scooter), a tortoise (Tortillini), two chinchillas, a pen full of chickens and ducks and lastly, a small flock of sheep (for Gilly and Jack). His hobbies include woodworking, gardening, sheepdog training, reptiles, motorcycle riding, SCUBA, and sitting on the beach on a tropical island.

Nick Garrick, DVM

Dr. Garrick graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from Salisbury University. Dr. Garrick was part of the Windcrest family from 2000 to 2006 and is now back! Before joining our team again, he was an Associate Veterinarian in Boca Raton, FL, for 15 years. While off duty, Dr. Garrick enjoys reading, gardening, and taking trips to the beach. Fun Fact: He is a big Disney fan and is an annual pass holder to Walt Disney World & Universal Orlando! He shares his home with two black cats, Oscar & Ethan; a Quaker Parrot, Tootsie; a Red-footed Tortoise, Gamora; and seven tarantulas! Dr. Garrick is best known for his compassion, as he profoundly understands others’ needs and wants.

Anthony Dallatore, VMD

Dr. Anthony Dallatore, VMD, graduated from the University of Delaware with a major in animal science, and minors in entomology and biology; then went on to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in small animals. Dr. Anthony currently spends his clinical hours split between Centreville and Hockessin Animal Hospital. Dr. Anthony loves all aspects of caring for cats, dogs, small mammals and birds. Dr. Anthony is the proud father of twin boys, Sebastian and Donte, and his wife, Mary Ann, is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Born and raised in Wilmington, DE, the Dallatore family now resides on a farm in Elkton, MD. The family includes 9 cats, 11 dogs, many chickens, turkeys and ducks, 7 goats, 2 mini donkeys, a mini horse, a tortoise and 2 budgies. Dr. Anthony enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking and fishing, and enjoys spending time with his family at their small fishing cabin on the Conowingo Reservoir.

Dr. Dallatore was awarded the Veterinarian of the Year by the Delaware Veterinary Medical Association in 2023.

Donna L. W. Namey, VMD

Practicing Veterinarian and owning partner of Windcrest Animal Hospital Group

Donna L. W. Namey, VMD, graduated with the highest honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine after working several years at Jefferson University Hospital as an ASCP-certified medical technologist in their microbiology laboratory. She is a co-owner of the Windcrest Animal Hospital Group. Dr. Namey counts her veterinary school acceptance phone call as one of her most memorable experiences. This call allowed her to fulfill her childhood dream of a career caring for pets. She has a particular interest in ultrasonography with 30 years of experience. Dr. Namey and her husband, George, and their children, Jacob and Samuel, enjoy spending time together in their Hockessin historic home and at the Delaware beaches. She also enjoys gardening, paper-crafting, and her two dogs, Sunny, Maggie, and cat Raven.

Kim Long, Veterinary Technician

Kim has been a part of our Centreville family for the past 26 years where she has formed long time friendships with our clients. Kim and her husband share their home with two Alaskan Malamutes, Cuda & Shelby. In her free time she enjoys riding ATV’s, watching wildlife, gardening, and often finds herself caring for animals. Kim is a huge fan of Philadelphia sports teams, but the Eagles and Phillies are her favorite!

Kim Johnson, Veterinary Technician

Kim has been a Veterinary Technician for about 10 years. Before joining our team at Centreville, she worked in shelter medicine where she gained experience as lead surgery technician. She was brought away from high volume shelter medicine to Centreville on the prospect of developing long term relationships with clients. In five years Kim would love to continue being a part of the Centreville family and to continue doing what she enjoys. Kim lives with her beautiful 12 year old daughter and their two cats, a large Maine Coon and a Siamese. While not working, Kim enjoys being outside and riding horses. Her superpower is laughter as she loves to help put a smile on everyone’s faces.

Caitlyn Duffy, Veterinary Technician

Caitlyn obtained a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology & Conservation and a minor in Animal Science from the University of Delaware. She plans to attend Veterinary School over the next five years with special interests in Wildlife & Exotic Animal Medicine and Surgery. Being a field technician at the University of Delaware, a clinic intern and volunteer at Tristate Bird Rescue & Research, and an animal care intern at Plumpton Park Zoo, Caitlin has an abundance of experience in the veterinary field. She shares her home with a pitbull named Simba and enjoys spending her free time reading, drawing, swing dancing and birding.

Karen Blackburn, Veterinary Technician

Karen graduated from The New York School of Dog Grooming with a Certificate in Grooming, and majored in Animal Sciences at the University of Delaware. After graduating, Karen decided to join the workforce and begin her career. She joined our team in 1997 as our groomer and has been with us since! Karen recalls her love for the career of grooming as being able to take a nervous dog and create a positive experience for them. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks and volunteering at Faithful Friends Animal Shelter. She shares her home with two feline fur-babies, Winifred and Grady.

Gabby Quinlan, Practice Manager

Gabby obtained her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from Harcum College and has been in the Veterinary field for more than 12 years. She became Centreville’s Practice Manager in 2019 after wanting to manage a team in the field that she adores. Over the next five years she simply strives to continue on the same path due to her love for animals. Gabby enjoys spending her free time with family, and making memories along the way. Along with her three children, Gabby shares her home with two dogs and a laid-back cat named Mr. BoJangles. Gabby’s philosophy is that all pets are family and should be treated that way.
