the latest in diagnostic tech
Radiology & Ultrasound
At Centreville Veterinary Hospital, we harness the most effective technologies to diagnose and treat your pets.
Radiology & Ultrasound For Dogs & Cats
Radiology and ultrasound for dogs and cats in Wilmington, DE, are two diagnostic procedures that help us get to the root of what’s causing your pet’s illness, pain, or discomfort.
Ultrasound For Pets
We use this non-invasive and pain-free technique to diagnose and assess the stage of many threatening diseases. Ultrasound is an excellent modality for evaluating fluid-filled and soft tissue organs such as the bladder, liver, spleen, and kidneys.
We interpret ultrasound images during the scan, and the report is available within just minutes after the ultrasound.
If your pet is visiting us for an ultrasound because another veterinary office referred you to us, we’ll discuss the report with you. We’ll also send/fax the report to the referral veterinarian, and we’ll call the referral veterinarian to discuss the results.
Additional Pet Diagnostics Procedures
In addition to radiology and ultrasound, we can also do fine needle aspirates and true-cut biopsies for diagnostic purposes, using either no or only mild sedation on your pet.
No matter what type of examination, testing, or procedure your pet requires, we will make sure they feel secure, comfortable, and cared for throughout their time with us. Contact us today for an appointment.
